Balancing Acts and Creative Endeavors: A Week in the Life of a Time-Traveler's Blog

It’s Friday again, Travelers! Nice job this week. I’m proud of you.

As for myself, I’m not feeling so terribly productive this week. My Day Job ate up

much of my time and energy, and I barely managed to use what remained on

exercise (which in my opinion, should not count as “leisure time” when it feels so

much like work). That of course means that household upkeep got pushed to the

side, too. If my neighbors ask, I think I’ll start telling them I’m helping the pollinators

by letting my lawn get so shaggy.

Keeping the Predictor Productions puck moving has proved an exercise in an of

itself, and much like a gym membership, expensive and requiring patience. For

example, this week I renewed my contract with Radiance Digital, a three-man team

which has handled not only the publication of this website, but the management of

P-Squared’s social media presence, and I’m sure a whole bunch of other spinning

plates that I don’t see.

In addition to this, I’m continuing to work with talented musicians and animators to

produce attractive animated lyric videos of our “nostalgicovers” project, featuring

the voices of both the Eighteenth Centurion and his “grandescendant”, Mister 1960.

As of this writing, eleven (11) finished songs have been produced as audio files;

three (3) of which have been animated, and are now ready for release as soon as

we work out a satisfactory schedule.

This work is done to a very high standard, and I’m tremendously proud of the work

we’ve accomplished. The downside of course is that the money for this content is

exclusively going out (of my personal budget), and it is far too early to expect any

to come in from an audience we have not yet gathered ‘round. I also worry that I’m

not giving the Radiance Digital boys enough to do in the short term, considering

that we’re not yet at a point where we’re releasing content on a daily basis (more

on that down the road).

The next big hurdle is commissioning Vtuber models for our twin time-travelers,

which I’m considering crowdfunding. I’m not considering too hard though, because

it seems crass to ask for others to chip in for content that hasn’t even been made

yet. Oh well.

Leon Bridges’ single ‘Don’t Worry’ just started playing on Pandora...

Until next time. Be Well. Do Good Work And Touch Some Grass Today.
