Turn The Radio Up, Make Me Lose Control

Hey There Traveler, I hope you’re well.
As for myself, I’ve had a crammed work week these past five days, having returned
from travel with family last week. Not only has there been the usual post-vacation
catching up to do (Why do I subscribe to all those e-mail newsletters?), but I’ve also
had to do my best to get some extra work done in advance of hitting the road once
again on Monday, this time for duty, rather than pleasure.
It shouldn’t be too long before we can finally launch our Predictor Productions
channel on Youtube and premier our first two animated music videos. You’ve seen
preview clips of ‘em on our social media accounts, but I can tell you now that one
will be an “Atomicover” from Mister 1960, and the other a “Symphonicover”
delivered by his 18th Century ancestor, the Chevalier d’1760.
What do these silly made-up labels mean, you ask? Simply put, these music videos
will feature popular music re-arranged in a historical musical style. Mister 1960’s
Atomicovers will make the music of today sound more suited to the mid-20th
century, from the late 1940s to the early 1970s. Established artists who have done
this work before and done it well include Scott Bradlee’s Postmoder Jukebox, The
Baseballs and Big Daddy. The Chevalier has an even larger musical playground to
navigate, and you can expect his Symphonicovers to treat modern music to the
whole diaspora of the Baroque and Classical period ranging from approximately
1680 to 1820. So, not entirely unlike the output of “Bardcore” practitioners like
Hildegard Von Blingen, only aligned to the music of the Enlightenment, rather than
the Renaissance.
Work is also underway on appropriate Vtuber models for these two characters, and
we hope to be able to share artwork of these with you closer to the Holiday season.
And our time traveling avatars will appear in the third-dimension courtesy of a
couple live-action films which will commence shooting in October.
The plates are far from the dinner table my friends, but they are indeed spinning!
Until I return;
Be Well. Do Good Work. And Touch Some Grass Today.
